Olukemi Olufunto Badenoch Adegoke is presently 43 years old, she was born in Wimbledon, London, the United Kingdom, on January 2, 1980. She is also of Nigerian origin, she is the daughter of Femi and Feyi Adegoke.

Kemi ran for the Conservatives in the London Assembly election two years after she failed in 2005 and finished sixth overall on the list for all of London. Kemi was not elected again since the Conservatives only managed to obtain three seats from the London-wide list in the election.
Victoria Borwick was then elected to the House of Commons three years later, and in the 2015 general elections, she subsequently gave up her position in the London Assembly.
